I have seen your smiles and excitement at finding a hidden painted rock along the trail! And just last week at the beach, a young boy walked up to our group to show off the beautiful painted rock he found on the beach.
To think that something so small and practically free can bring such joy to others...well, doesn't that excite you? It does me! And it doesn't have to be skillfully artistic. We're talking dots! It's the find that causes an excited young boy to approach a group of friendly strangers to show off his new treasure, and the pleasure of making something for others to find more than doubles back to you.
On Friday, June 7th, you are invited to "Play" at painting a rock or two to hide along the trail on one of our walks. I have two friends from our "Artist's Heart" group that are going to teach us how to paint Rock Mandalas for abandoning along the trail. There will be time for you to paint one for yourself to keep as well if you'd like! And if you decide you just want to paint it any ol' way, that's okay too! I have a Pole-R Bear Rock to leave somewhere already.
